Several of the park's old buildings have been mostly demolished, including the bowls club and kindergarten. (I think the sound shell is still there for the moment.) I suppose they'll have to remove that sign about the Kindergarten at some point as well. Sad. They're going to have to work very hard to give the park character again.

The Quest development has topped out, and scaffolding is up now that the heavy lifting (pardon the pun) appears to be done. It looks bigger (both taller and wider) than I was expecting based on the renders. Fingers crossed they polish it up nicely.

There is movement at The Lonsdale (27 Scott Street). Since they only just launched it, I can't imagine anything has actually started. Nonetheless, the land was entirely empty before, so it is at least curious.

Quest has roughly hit the half-way point along Walker Street. That includes ground level, the two car parking levels, and the first level of rooms.

Another small update on 229 Thomas. Still lots of work going on, and can't see much of the facade yet.

There appears to be some real activity on the site. This photo is from December.

In a recent ad for Spectra apartments, there is an (unexpected) render of the renovations to the old health service building next door. It's looking very colourful.

The Quest development will be getting an extra 2 levels, bringing the total floor count to 8. Sadly, they appear to be carpark levels. (From urban.melbourne.)
