BUILDING company G Developments has sold an industrial-zoned land site in Melbourne's south-east for $2.6 million.
The buyer was a private owner occupier.
The land holding has a 66 metre frontage to Cheltenham Road, with Colliers International saying that the road offers exposure to over 30,000 cars passing daily.
A few things have been going up on Cheltenham Road lately: 3 storey offices by Vansan Construction, part of which also serves as their head office; a very noticeable 3 storey office at the corner of Dandenong Street; a McDonalds at the corner of Bennett Street; and, of course, Metro Village town houses, as well as the 5-9 storey Mosaic. Hopefully, a similar forward-looking development may appear at 100 Cheltenham Road. It would be a rather silly missed opportunity if it were not the case. (Particularly if it were due to the inappropriate zoning.)
